जघ्नतुस्तौ रणे दैत्यमेकैकं षष्टिभिः शरैः । निर्भिद्य ते महादैत्यं सपुंखा विविशुर्महीम्

jaghnatustau raṇe daityamekaikaṃ ṣaṣṭibhiḥ śaraiḥ | nirbhidya te mahādaityaṃ sapuṃkhā viviśurmahīm

Dans la bataille, tous deux frappèrent le Daitya, chacun de soixante flèches. Ayant transpercé le grand Daitya, les flèches—plumées encore—s’enfoncèrent dans la terre.
