Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta), narrating to the sages (deduced)
Scene: Mahīṣāsura, massive and furious, turns with a thunderous roar toward the weakened scene, eyes fixed on the two devas, jaws parted in a devouring intent; Kujaṃbha lies battered nearby.
Unchecked tamas and brutality seek to ‘consume’ even the divine; the Purāṇic message is that such adharma inevitably invites its own destruction.
