ततो बद्धभुजं दैत्यं विफलीकृतपौरुषम् । ताडयामास गदया दयामुत्सृज्य पाशभृत्

tato baddhabhujaṃ daityaṃ viphalīkṛtapauruṣam | tāḍayāmāsa gadayā dayāmutsṛjya pāśabhṛt

Alors le porteur du lacet, rejetant toute compassion, frappa d’une massue (gadā) le Daitya, les bras liés et la vaillance rendue vaine.
