एवमुक्तः सहस्राक्ष एवमेवेत्युवाच ह । कर्तव्यतां च संचिंत्य प्रोवाचामरसंसदि
evamuktaḥ sahasrākṣa evamevetyuvāca ha | kartavyatāṃ ca saṃciṃtya provācāmarasaṃsadi
Ainsi interpellé, Indra aux mille yeux répondit : « Qu’il en soit ainsi, qu’il en soit ainsi. » Puis, ayant réfléchi à ce qu’il fallait accomplir, il prit la parole dans l’assemblée des Immortels.
