ब्रह्मोवाच । ददामि सर्वकामांस्ते उत्तिष्ठ दितिनन्दन । एवमुक्तस्तदोत्थाय दैत्येंद्रस्तपसो निधिः । उवाच प्रांजलिर्वाक्यं सर्वलोकपितामहम्
brahmovāca | dadāmi sarvakāmāṃste uttiṣṭha ditinandana | evamuktastadotthāya daityeṃdrastapaso nidhiḥ | uvāca prāṃjalirvākyaṃ sarvalokapitāmaham
Brahmā dit : «Je t’accorde tous les dons que tu désires ; lève-toi, ô fils de Diti.» Ainsi interpellé, le seigneur des Daityas—trésor d’ascèse—se releva et, les mains jointes, adressa des paroles au Pitāmaha, Aïeul de tous les mondes.
