Transliteration

jalāṃtarapraviṣṭasya tasya patnī mahāvratā | tasyaiva tīre sarasastatparā maunamāśritā

Translation

Lorsque son époux fut entré dans les eaux, son épouse—ferme dans le grand vœu—demeura sur la rive même de ce lac, tout entière tournée vers lui, observant le vœu de silence.
