Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 160

सिद्धाश्च मानसं नाम काममृत्युजरातिगम् । उंछजं च बलिर्लिंगं ज्ञानात्मेत्यस्य नाम च

siddhāśca mānasaṃ nāma kāmamṛtyujarātigam | uṃchajaṃ ca balirliṃgaṃ jñānātmetyasya nāma ca

Les Siddha adorent le liṅga né de l’esprit (mānasa) et le nomment « Kāmamṛtyujarātiga », Celui qui transcende désir, mort et vieillesse. Et Bali adore un liṅga fait de grains glanés (uṃchaja), le nommant « Jñānātman », dont l’essence est la Connaissance.
