अग्निश्च रेतो मृडया च देहे रेतोधा विष्णुरमृतस्य नाभिः । एवं ब्रुवञ्छ्रद्धया सत्यवाक्यं ततोऽवगाहेत महीसमुद्रम्
agniśca reto mṛḍayā ca dehe retodhā viṣṇuramṛtasya nābhiḥ | evaṃ bruvañchraddhayā satyavākyaṃ tato'vagāheta mahīsamudram
«Agni est la semence; dans le corps, par la grâce de Rudra; Viṣṇu porte cette semence et il est le nombril de l’immortalité». Ayant ainsi parlé avec foi et parole véridique, qu’on s’immerge ensuite et qu’on se baigne au confluent de la Mahī et de l’Océan.
