Transliteration

dṛśoratithitāṃ nītvā viṣṇurvārāṇasīṃ tataḥ | puṃḍarīkākṣa ityākhyāṃ saphalīkṛtavānmudā

Translation

Puis Viṣṇu, faisant de Vārāṇasī une « hôte » pour ses yeux en la contemplant, rendit avec joie pleinement véridique et accompli le nom de « Puṇḍarīkākṣa ».
