Tirtha: Kāśī-kṣetra liṅga-yātrā (the circuit described in this adhyāya)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A panoramic Kāśī circuit: multiple liṅga shrines visited in sequence; the pilgrim appears both as traveler and yogin—walking with staff, then seated in meditation by the Ganga—suggesting yātrā culminating in yoga-siddhi.
Pilgrimage, when done as dharma, concentrates the merit of many sacred acts and supports yoga and tapas toward liberation.
The overall Kāśī liṅga-yātrā—presented as a supreme sacred circuit upon the earth.
Performing the yātrā (pilgrimage circuit) itself, with implied visitation of the liṅgas to obtain the full phala.
