Type: kshetra
Scene: At dawn on the Gaṅgā, a pilgrim completes snāna, then in the temple precinct performs a small homa with ghee offerings and sits for japa with a rudrākṣa mālā. A luminous aura around Viśveśvara suggests the ‘crore-japa’ fruit condensed into 108 beads.
Sacred geography matters in Purāṇic dharma: in Kāśī, devotion to Viśveśvara yields accelerated spiritual fruit.
Kāśī, especially the sphere of Viśveśvara’s presence where worship becomes extraordinarily efficacious.
Propitiate Viśveśvara through snāna, homa, japa, etc.; 108 repetitions in Kāśī are said to equal a crore elsewhere.
