किं मां जनकमाप्यापि त्वं रोदिषि मुहुर्मुहुः । श्रुत्वेति पृथुकः प्राह यथोक्तं परमेष्ठिना

kiṃ māṃ janakamāpyāpi tvaṃ rodiṣi muhurmuhuḥ | śrutveti pṛthukaḥ prāha yathoktaṃ parameṣṭhinā

«Même après m’avoir obtenu pour père, pourquoi pleures-tu encore et encore ?» À ces mots, celui qu’on nommait Pṛthuka répondit, conformément à ce que le Parameṣṭhin (Brahmā) lui avait dit.
