व्यभजञ्छकटान्केचित्पशून्केचिदजीगिलन् । अग्निं निर्वापयामासुः केचिदत्यग्नितेजसः
vyabhajañchakaṭānkecitpaśūnkecidajīgilan | agniṃ nirvāpayāmāsuḥ kecidatyagnitejasaḥ
Certains brisèrent les chariots; d’autres engloutirent les bêtes du sacrifice. Et certains—embrasés d’un feu plus âpre que le feu—éteignirent les flammes sacrées d’Agni.
