शप्तश्च वीक्षमाणानां देवर्षीणां प्रजापतिः । मया च कर्णौ पिहितौ श्रुत्वा तद्गर्हणा गिरः

śaptaśca vīkṣamāṇānāṃ devarṣīṇāṃ prajāpatiḥ | mayā ca karṇau pihitau śrutvā tadgarhaṇā giraḥ

Sous les yeux des rishis divins qui observaient, le Prajāpati fut lui aussi maudit ; et moi, j’ai couvert mes deux oreilles en entendant ces paroles de blâme.
