Skanda (narration)
Tirtha: Kailāsa
Type: peak
Scene: A semicircle of sages and celestial beings bowing toward Śiva; their bodies show romāñca—raised hairs, trembling hands, moist eyes—capturing devotional rapture in a formal court setting.
True devotion manifests as humble reverence and ecstatic absorption; even exalted beings respond to Śiva with awe and love.
No single tīrtha is named in this verse; it depicts a cosmic darśana scene that supports the Kāśī-centered narrative.
Namaskāra (bowing) is exemplified as the core devotional gesture.
