Skanda (deduced: Kāśī-khaṇḍa commonly Skanda speaking to Agastya)
Tirtha: Kedāra-udaka in Kāśī
Type: kund
Listener: General devotees; explicitly inclusive of men and women
Scene: A devotee receives a small vessel of ‘Kedāra-water’ at a Kāśī shrine; men and women stand together, sipping reverently; the shrine’s liṅga glows, suggesting the trans-local sanctity of the water.
Sacred merit is not limited by distance; Kāśī mystically grants the same tīrtha-fruit as Kedāra.
Kedāra/Kedāreśvara and its sanctified water, as mirrored within Kāśī.
Drinking (pāna) of Kedāra-water as a merit-bearing act.
