पप्रच्छ दमनं चेति कस्त्वं कस्मादिहागतः । तरुणोपि विरक्तोसि कुतस्तद्वद सत्तम
papraccha damanaṃ ceti kastvaṃ kasmādihāgataḥ | taruṇopi viraktosi kutastadvada sattama
Il interrogea Damana : « Qui es-tu, et d’où es-tu venu ici ? Bien que jeune, tu es détaché ; d’où cela te vient-il ? Dis-le-moi, ô le meilleur des hommes. »
