योषिन्मनोरथवती षंढं प्राप्य यथाऽफला । सा दैत्यकरकावृष्टिर्देवीं प्राप्य तथाभवत्

yoṣinmanorathavatī ṣaṃḍhaṃ prāpya yathā'phalā | sā daityakarakāvṛṣṭirdevīṃ prāpya tathābhavat

De même qu’une femme pleine de désir devient sans fruit en obtenant un homme impuissant, ainsi cette grêle du Daitya, parvenue jusqu’à la Déesse, devint vaine.
