अरिष्टं गच्छ पंथास्ते शुभोदर्को भवत्वलम् । आदायाज्ञां विधि मूर्ध्नि ययौ वाराणसीं मुदा

Transliteration

ariṣṭaṃ gaccha paṃthāste śubhodarko bhavatvalam | ādāyājñāṃ vidhi mūrdhni yayau vārāṇasīṃ mudā

Translation

«Va sans péril : que ta route soit sans dommage et qu’elle s’achève en heureuse issue.» Ayant reçu cet ordre sur sa tête avec révérence, Vidhi partit joyeusement pour Vārāṇasī.
