Tirtha: Mahotkaṭeśvara (liṅga)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim approaches a northern Kāśī shrine: Mahotkaṭeśvara-liṅga under a small canopy, with directional markers ‘Trilocana’ and ‘Kāmeśvara’ implied; priests offer bilva and water; the sense of a ‘brought-from-Marutkoṭa’ sacred presence is shown as a subtle aura or procession memory.
Kāśī’s sacred topography is a liberation-map: specific directions and darśanas are taught as mokṣa-bestowing.
Mahotkaṭeśvara Liṅga near the northern side of Trilocana and the northern part of Kāmeśvara in Kāśī.
Darśana (pilgrim visitation) of the indicated liṅgas/locations is the implied observance.
