सख्यः प्रदक्षिणीकर्तुं लिंगं तिस्रोऽप्युमे गताः । तस्या गीतेन तुष्टोहं लिंगस्थो वरदोभवम्
sakhyaḥ pradakṣiṇīkartuṃ liṃgaṃ tisro'pyume gatāḥ | tasyā gītena tuṣṭohaṃ liṃgastho varadobhavam
«Ô Umā, ses trois amies aussi allèrent faire la circumambulation du Liṅga. Ravi par le chant de cette jeune fille, moi—demeurant dans le Liṅga—je devins dispensateur de grâces.»
