Skanda (deduced for Kāśīkhaṇḍa context)
Tirtha: Kāśī-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Śrīpati Viṣṇu reclines on the wondrous couch (Śeṣa) in a cosmic ocean; above, a celestial court where Yama (pitṛpati), Indra, and Kubera lead devas honoring a steadfast devotee; a subtle path extends from heaven toward liberation-light.
Steady worship brings both worldly-divine honor and the highest end—apavarga (liberation)—since the Lord grants the full spectrum of auspicious results.
The Kāśī Khaṇḍa framework is the locus; the verse emphasizes devotional results rather than a named Kāśī tirtha.
Satata-bhajana (constant worship/adoration) of the Lord is prescribed as the means to svarga and apavarga.
