Type: kshetra
Scene: A singer-devotee offered a place among Rudra’s attendants (gaṇas), rejoicing near Śiva; the scene balances humility (devotee) and grandeur (Śiva’s court).
Even when liberation is not attained, sincere devotional art becomes Śiva-service, granting proximity and joy with Rudra.
Within Kāśīkhaṇḍa, the verse supports Kāśī’s promise of closeness to Śiva through devotional practice.
No formal rite; it commends devotional singing as a form of service (sevā) to Rudra.
