विषयेष्वति संरागो मानसो मल उच्यते । तेष्वेव हि विरागो स्य नैर्मल्यं समुदाहृतम्

viṣayeṣvati saṃrāgo mānaso mala ucyate | teṣveva hi virāgo sya nairmalyaṃ samudāhṛtam

L’attachement excessif aux objets des sens est appelé souillure du mental ; le détachement envers ces mêmes objets est déclaré être la pureté.
