Skanda Purana — Kashi Khanda, Shloka 4

धर्ममार्ग प्रवृत्तस्य क्रियते यावमानना । सा भवेदात्मनो नूनं महदेनश्च जायते

dharmamārga pravṛttasya kriyate yāvamānanā | sā bhavedātmano nūnaṃ mahadenaśca jāyate

Lorsque celui qui s’est engagé sur la voie du dharma est traité avec mépris, cette offense devient assurément une lourde faute pour l’insulteur, et un grand péché en naît.
