एकतः सर्वदानानि दीपदानं तथैकतः । कार्तिके दीपदानस्य कलां नार्हंति षोडशीम्
ekataḥ sarvadānāni dīpadānaṃ tathaikataḥ | kārtike dīpadānasya kalāṃ nārhaṃti ṣoḍaśīm
D’un côté se trouvent tous les dons; de l’autre, l’offrande d’une lampe. Au mois de Kārttika, nul autre don n’atteint même pas le seizième du mérite du don de la lampe.
