गृहाश्रमः सुखार्थाय भार्यामूलं च तत्सुखम् । सा च भार्या विनीताया त्रिवर्गो विनयो धुवम्

Transliteration

gṛhāśramaḥ sukhārthāya bhāryāmūlaṃ ca tatsukham | sā ca bhāryā vinītāyā trivargo vinayo dhuvam

Translation

L’āśrama du maître de maison est ordonné au bonheur, et ce bonheur a sa racine dans l’épouse. Quand l’épouse est instruite en humilité et en bonne conduite, les trois buts de la vie s’épanouissent ; car la discipline est assurément stable.
