ततोऽभ्यसेत्प्रयत्नेन सदाचारं सदा द्विजः । तीर्थान्यप्यभिलष्यंति सदाचारिसमागमम्
tato'bhyasetprayatnena sadācāraṃ sadā dvijaḥ | tīrthānyapyabhilaṣyaṃti sadācārisamāgamam
Ainsi, le « deux-fois-né » doit, toujours et avec effort, cultiver la conduite juste. Même les lieux saints de pèlerinage aspirent à la compagnie et à la présence de ceux qui vivent selon la bonne conduite.
