इत्थं परिष्टुत्य स कार्तिकेयं नमो नमस्त्वित्यभिभाषमाणः । द्विस्त्रिःपरिक्रम्य पुरो विवेश स्थितो मुनीशोपविशेति चोक्तः
itthaṃ pariṣṭutya sa kārtikeyaṃ namo namastvityabhibhāṣamāṇaḥ | dvistriḥparikramya puro viveśa sthito munīśopaviśeti coktaḥ
Ainsi, après avoir loué Kārtikeya et répété sans cesse : «Hommage, hommage à Toi», il fit deux ou trois pradakṣiṇā autour de Lui, puis entra devant Lui. Debout là, il fut invité : «Ô seigneur parmi les sages, assieds-toi».
