इत्यनुज्ञामनुप्राप्य जननी चरणांबुजौ । क्षणं मौलिजजंबाल जडौ कृत्वा ध्रुवो ययौ

ityanujñāmanuprāpya jananī caraṇāṃbujau | kṣaṇaṃ maulijajaṃbāla jaḍau kṛtvā dhruvo yayau

Ainsi, ayant reçu la permission, Dhruva se prosterna et s’attacha aux pieds-lotus de sa mère ; par le filet des cheveux de sa tête, il les rendit immobiles un instant, puis il s’en alla.
