इति दत्त्वा वराञ्छंभुस्तस्मै चंद्रमसे द्विज । अंतर्हितो महेशानस्तत्र वैश्वेश्वरे पुरे
iti dattvā varāñchaṃbhustasmai caṃdramase dvija | aṃtarhito maheśānastatra vaiśveśvare pure
Ainsi, après avoir accordé ces grâces à Candra, ô brāhmane, Śambhu—Maheśāna—devint invisible en ce lieu, dans la cité de Vaiśveśvara (Kāśī).
