तदा युप्यस्यशेषेण पिंगाक्षो मृगयां गतः । तस्मिन्नरण्ये तन्मार्गं निकषाध्युषितो निशि

tadā yupyasyaśeṣeṇa piṃgākṣo mṛgayāṃ gataḥ | tasminnaraṇye tanmārgaṃ nikaṣādhyuṣito niśi

Alors Piṅgākṣa partit à la chasse, ne gardant qu’un mince reste de vivres et d’équipement. Dans cette forêt, ce chemin fut, la nuit, occupé et étroitement surveillé par celui qui était aux aguets.
