अब्दं जप्तमिदं स्तोत्रं पुत्रदं नात्र संशयः । इत्युक्त्वांतर्दधे बालः सोपि विप्रो गृहं गतः
abdaṃ japtamidaṃ stotraṃ putradaṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ | ityuktvāṃtardadhe bālaḥ sopi vipro gṛhaṃ gataḥ
«Si l’on récite cet hymne pendant une année, il accorde un fils, sans aucun doute.» Ayant dit cela, le garçon disparut; et ce brāhmane, lui aussi, rentra chez lui.
