nidrāparavaśāḥ paurā naiva dāsyaṃti pāvakam | itthaṃ vijayadatto'sāvuktaḥ pitrā jvarāturaḥ
«Les gens de la ville, dominés par le sommeil, ne donneront point de feu.» Ainsi parla le père à Vijayadatta, tourmenté par la fièvre.
