उदिता तनया चैवं जनन्या तां प्रणम्य सा । स्वीकृत्य माहिषं रूपं वनं पञ्चाग्निमध्यगा

uditā tanayā caivaṃ jananyā tāṃ praṇamya sā | svīkṛtya māhiṣaṃ rūpaṃ vanaṃ pañcāgnimadhyagā

Ainsi instruite, la fille se prosterna devant sa mère. Prenant la forme d’un buffle, elle entra dans la forêt et entreprit l’austère observance de se tenir au milieu des cinq feux.
