Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 152

विधिवत्पूजयामास पाद्यार्घ्याचमनीयकैः । उवाच च महीपालं धर्मार्थसहितं वचः

vidhivatpūjayāmāsa pādyārghyācamanīyakaiḥ | uvāca ca mahīpālaṃ dharmārthasahitaṃ vacaḥ

Selon le rite, il l’honora par l’eau pour les pieds (pādya), l’offrande de respect (arghya) et l’eau pour l’ācamana (ācamanīya). Puis il adressa au roi des paroles fondées sur le dharma et le juste dessein.
