Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 41

An instructing sage/teacher figure in the Setukhaṇḍa dialogue (contextual; exact speaker not in snippet)

Scene: A counselor-like figure addresses a grieving person, pointing from a cremation-ground setting toward a distant sacred horizon, emphasizing destiny and the path of rites.

FAQs

Destiny is individual; grief should be tempered by understanding that each being follows its own karmic path.

The Setukhaṇḍa context is tied to Rāmasetu, but this verse itself is a logical instruction rather than site-praise.

No direct prescription; it supports the later instruction to perform śrāddha and related rites.
