भोस्तात मातर्मां हित्वा युवां यातौ क्व वाधुना । अहं कुत्र गमिष्यामि को वा मे शरणं भवेत्

bhostāta mātarmāṃ hitvā yuvāṃ yātau kva vādhunā | ahaṃ kutra gamiṣyāmi ko vā me śaraṇaṃ bhavet

«Ô père ! ô mère ! M’ayant laissé derrière vous, où êtes-vous donc partis à présent ? Où irai-je, et qui, vraiment, sera mon refuge ?»
