Skanda (deduced from Setukhaṇḍa māhātmya narration context)
Tirtha: Rāmanātha-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A contemplative devotee seated near the temple corridor or seashore at dawn, eyes closed in remembrance; faint visions of stotra manuscripts and pūjā items appear as elusive, shimmering symbols to show ‘durlabha’; the liṅga’s presence is calm and inward.
True devotion and sustained remembrance are precious spiritual attainments, not casual accomplishments.
The teaching continues the Rāmeśvaram/Rāmanātha māhātmya within Setukhaṇḍa.
Core devotional disciplines are highlighted: pūjā (worship), stotra (hymn-recitation), and smaraṇa (remembrance).
