सृष्टिस्थित्यंतकारिण्यौ जगतो वेदमातरौ । हव्यकव्यस्वरूपे च चंद्रादित्यविलोचने

sṛṣṭisthityaṃtakāriṇyau jagato vedamātarau | havyakavyasvarūpe ca caṃdrādityavilocane

Vous deux présidez à la création, au maintien et à la dissolution; vous êtes les Mères des Veda pour le monde entier. Vous êtes la forme même des offrandes aux devas et aux ancêtres, et vos yeux sont la Lune et le Soleil.
