Scene: Viṣṇu formally appoints Garuḍa as His vāhana and as ketu (banner) on His chariot; Garuḍa accepts with solemn pride and devotion.
The highest honor is divine service; proximity to the Lord becomes the devotee’s lasting glory.

None; it establishes Garuḍa’s role as Viṣṇu’s mount and emblem.
