pacamyāṃ tu tithau martyo yaḥ karoti mahālayam | tasya tṛpyaṃti pitaraḥ paṃcakalpasahasrake

Au cinquième tithi (pañcamī), le mortel qui accomplit le saint Mahālaya rassasie ses ancêtres ; ils demeurent comblés durant cinq mille kalpas.
