ऋषय ऊचुः । सर्वतीर्थमिति ख्यातिः सूतास्य कथमागता । ब्रूह्यस्माकमिदं पुण्यं विस्तराच्छृण्वतां मुने
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | sarvatīrthamiti khyātiḥ sūtāsya kathamāgatā | brūhyasmākamidaṃ puṇyaṃ vistarācchṛṇvatāṃ mune
Les sages dirent : « Ô Sūta, comment ce lieu est-il devenu célèbre sous le nom de “Sarvatīrtha”, le tīrtha de tous les tīrthas ? Expose-nous en détail ce mérite, ô muni, tandis que nous écoutons. »
