Transliteration

niruddhatoyaṃ saumitre kariṣyāmi kṣaṇādaham | saśaṃkhaśuktājālaṃ hi samīnamakaraṃ śanaiḥ

Translation

«Ô Saumitrī, en un instant je retiendrai ses eaux ; et, peu à peu, il ne sera plus qu’un amas de conques et de coquilles, avec ses poissons et ses makaras mis à nu.»
