adhyāyamenaṃ paṭhate manuṣyaḥ śṛṇoti vā bhaktiyuto dvijeṃdrāḥ | so naṃtamāpnoti jayaṃ paratra punarbhavakleśamasau na gacchet
Type: kshetra
Listener: Dvijendras (brāhmaṇas)
Scene: A devotee reciting/hearing the chapter with folded hands; above, a symbolic ‘endless victory’—a radiant path to a luminous realm—while the wheel of rebirth fades behind.
Devotional engagement with sacred teaching—hearing or reciting—becomes a direct means to transcend saṃsāra.
The Setu-māhātmya chapter itself, which glorifies Setu and its tīrthas.
Bhakti-yukta śravaṇa (devotional listening) and pāṭha (recitation) of the chapter.
