Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating to the sages (contextual attribution)
Tirtha: Setu (darśana-māhātmya)
Type: kshetra
Listener: General audience within Setu-māhātmya frame
Scene: A traveler stands on the shore, hands in añjali, simply beholding the Setu expanse; above, symbolic rains of stone and fire and the Kālasūtra imagery appear as dark clouds that part and vanish.
Even darśana (reverent sight) of Setu is exalted as spiritually efficacious, reducing the force of sinful destinies.
Setu/Setubandha (Rāmeśvara region).
Avalokana/darśana of Setu (seeing the sacred place with devotion).
