उद्धृतेष्यथ पिंडेषु यावान्नकणिका भुवि । ताभिराप्यायनं तेषां ये च पातालमागताः

Transliteration

uddhṛteṣyatha piṃḍeṣu yāvānnakaṇikā bhuvi | tābhirāpyāyanaṃ teṣāṃ ye ca pātālamāgatāḥ

Translation

Et lorsque l’on relève les piṇḍas (boules de riz), toute infime parcelle de nourriture qui demeure sur la terre—par elle vient la nourriture pour ceux (les ancêtres) qui sont allés à Pātāla, les régions d’en bas.
