Transliteration

bhāryā mūlaṃ gṛhasthasya bhāryā mūlaṃ sukhasya ca | bhāryā dharmaphalāyaiva bhāryā saṃtānavṛddhaye

Translation

L’épouse est la racine même de la vie du maître de maison, et la racine du bonheur aussi. L’épouse est pour la maturation du dharma, et l’épouse est pour l’accroissement de la descendance.
