सर्पिर्लव णहिंग्वादिक्षयेऽपि व पति व्रता । पतिं नास्तीति न ब्रूयादायसीषु न भोजयेत्
sarpirlava ṇahiṃgvādikṣaye'pi va pati vratā | patiṃ nāstīti na brūyādāyasīṣu na bhojayet
Même si le ghee, le sel, le hing (asa-fœtida) et autres viennent à manquer, l’épouse vouée à son vœu ne doit pas dire : «Il n’y a rien pour mon époux» ; et elle ne doit pas lui servir la nourriture dans un récipient de fer.
