सूत उवाच । पतिव्रता गृहे यस्य सफलं तस्य जीवनम् । यस्यांगच्छायया तुल्या यत्कथा पुण्यकारिणी
sūta uvāca | pativratā gṛhe yasya saphalaṃ tasya jīvanam | yasyāṃgacchāyayā tulyā yatkathā puṇyakāriṇī
Sūta dit : «Celui dans la maison duquel demeure une pativratā—sa vie devient accomplie. Sa présence même est telle une ombre protectrice, et le récit de son histoire devient cause de mérite (puṇya).»
